Hi guys. I dunno where else to post this -- are there members only general discussion forums? Can I see them please? :) Anyway,
I think the Teamspeak situation could be improved.
[1] It is not helpful that you can't see who is in each room without joining it. You can see this information on the website, so why hide it?
[2] We are using particularly low bitrate codecs at the moment... Speex 12.3 Kbit. Speex works up to 25.9 Kbit, which makes everything clearer and nicer sounding. Why not use it?
[3] It is almost impossible for people to easily join our Teamspeak server from in-game. The message pops up with this IP address, and you don't have time to copy it down. Then, it takes matches before it shows up again. If you use the full address of the website hosting the server, then it can be joined just by typing acs-clan.co.uk or whatever. I notice the game server, the website, and the Teamspeak are all running at different IP locations, so this will likely require a bit of a shuffle to make it work. However, it would be jolly useful and people might actually join the TS for once.
I realise I'm a bit new to be making all these suggestions, but I have been running TS servers for a very long time (my house even has its own TS server :)), and I think these would help the clan as a whole. Please feel free to ignore any and all of this if you like :)

Why are clan members in game and not Ts,Ts is the clan,Ts is the biggest part of a clan because if no one is on ts, why would anyone want to join the clan?I have been in clans for years and my best advice is get all members to use Ts while in game.Our Ts is brilliant some nights i dont game, just sit with my sides spliting listening to the banter ,Our clan is old and mature,some of our members have been there more than 6 yrs we get loads of other clans in visiting our TS and gaming with us because we are crazy bunch having a laugh .

This is the perfect place to post this type of messgae.
The only forums that are blocked are the admins ones.
1) done
2) done - upgraded
3) not sure how to implement this, will give it some thought. Probably only way would be to have another console message that says "visit website for address" or similar.
All suggestions are welcome from any member.
Lets make this siet one of the best clan sites possible.
